8-week Sign Painting Class (64+ hours) Every Tuesday July 22 - Sept. 9
8 hours @ $1,200.00
8 classes once a week, every Tuesday 8am- 4pm.
Learn the basics of the brush, the rules to lettering & layout, multiple alphabets, effects like convex/beveled letters, blending, faux marble, and much more.
Students will build their skills each week and will complete the course with their own custom hand painted sign using all the skills acquired. Some homework will be assigned, materials will be provided. We will take a 45 min break to eat lunch.
WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Students will learn the fundamentals of brush handling, lettering rules, and layout techniques, along with a variety of alphabet styles.
Workshop covers decorative effects such as convex and beveled lettering, color blending, faux marble, and more. Skills will build progressively each week, culminating in the creation of a custom hand-painted sign that showcases each student’s individual style and newly developed techniques. Some homework will be assigned, and all materials are provided.
